The Trading2gether DOM template for Jigsaw
A DOM configuration built to make liquidity, absorption, gaps and momentum easier to see.
The settings that matter (and why they change what you read)
This part matters. These settings are not decoration: they change what the market's intent looks like to you.
Clear Trades Timer Interval
(Image 2, item 1)
This is probably the most underrated setting in the DOM. It sets the window during which Jigsaw keeps adding up trades when price leaves a level and then comes back to trade at exactly the same best bid or best ask.
- • ES: 2500 ms
- • NQ: 1500 ms
- • US open: lower it further
- • Gaps you can actually see
- • Real absorption standing out
- • Cleaner retests
Momentum Tails
(Image 2, item 2)
Momentum Tails shades the range of prices covered during a set interval. It does not only show the last trade — it shows how price worked an area.
- • ES: 150 ms
- • NQ: 50 ms
- • High volatility: lower it
- • Directional pushes
- • Zones of acceleration
- • Short rotations
- • Absorption starting after an excess
Shows liquidity further out. Less decisive than the timers, but useful for understanding where the distant defences sit.
Tune the recentring to the volatility and to your screen. Visual comfort more than reading.
Close Outstanding Orders stops an order staying live after the close. Re-Centre on New Position recentres the DOM on execution.

Mini-quiz (from the course)
Below you see two live DOMs (A and B) with different settings. One difference jumps out in the Inside Print: on DOM A a Gap appears at 4375 on the bid, while on DOM B that same level shows a total of 333 contracts.
Which setting explains the difference?
Installing the template (Windows)
Four steps. If you get stuck, write to us and send a screenshot of your Templates folder.
Download the file below. If it is a ZIP, unzip it to get the XML file (for example T2G.xml).
Copy the XML file into: C:\Users\<your_user>\Documents\Jigsaw Trading\Templates\DepthSales
Close Jigsaw completely and open it again, otherwise the template may not appear in the list.
In Jigsaw → Settings, bottom left, open the list (often showing "default") and select "T2G" (or whatever you named your template).
Copy the XML file here:
Note: close and reopen Jigsaw after copying, so the template is picked up.
Once Jigsaw has restarted, open Settings. Bottom left, click the dropdown (often showing "default"). Select the T2G template.
If the template does not show up, check the folder: C:\Users\<your_user>\Documents\Jigsaw Trading\Templates\DepthSales and restart Jigsaw.
Quick FAQ
The questions that come up most during installation.
The template is not in the list. Why? +
Check the exact folder (Templates\DepthSales), check the extension (.xml), and restart Jigsaw after copying.
Are these values "universal"? +
No. They are a solid starting point. The aim is to understand the settings so you can adapt them to the instrument (ES/NQ…) and the hour, which changes volatility and liquidity.
Can I use it with a dark theme? +
Yes. Histogram plus Highlight Large Bids/Asks read more clearly on a dark theme.
